Dr. Bennie Braggs is the vice-president and co-founder of One Faith Ministry Inc. Seasoned with humor, compassion, revelatory insight, and personal candor, Dr. Bennie opens minds and touches hearts with biblically-based principles of inner healing and personal empowerment. She is a woman of prayer, praise, and true character, whose highest form of worship is the study of God’s Word. Her greatest desire is to know God.
With superb devotion, Dr. Bennie handles her obligation to serve as the Associate Pastor of the Silver Star Church of Rome, MS, alongside her husband, Dr. Gregory Braggs Sr., who is the senior pastor. She is the founder of the Silver Star Church's Women’s Prayer, where she teaches women how to surrender to a life of prayer.
Dr. Bennie has earned several degrees. From Liberty University of Lynchburg, VA, she earned an Associate of Psychology, a Bachelors of Multidisciplinary Studies, a Masters of Education, and a Masters of Art in Family and Marriage Counseling. She also earned a Bachelors of Biblical Studies from the Exodus School of the Bible of Cleveland, MS (Jun. 2000). Through the Andersonville Theological Seminary of Camilla, GA, she earned a Masters of Ministry (May 2001), a Doctorate of Christian Counseling (Dec. 2001), and a Doctorate of Pastoral Theology (Aug. 2005).
In addition to her education, Dr. Bennie is a Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (since Mar. 2008). Under the International Institute of Faith Based Counseling of Beaumont, TX; Dr. Braggs is a board certified pastoral therapist (May 2002) and faith-based clinical therapist (Oct. 2002). She is also a board certified professor of the American Association of Christian Therapists (Nov. 2009) and Dayspring Christian University (Mar. 2011).
Dr. Gregory and Dr. Bennie have been happily married for 31 years. They also have two adult children Elaineia and Gregory Jr.
